Downtime benefit for LeasingTeam Group Contractors – announcement

What conditions must be met, how to submit an application, what amount of benefit is due. The most important information for Contractors of the LeasingTeam employment agency.

The last few weeks have been a particularly difficult and demanding time for all of us. Some of the LeasingTeam Group’s customers, to whom our employees were delegated under civil law contracts, were forced to close their branches. In order to survive this difficult time, these employees can take advantage of state support guaranteed in the special act, the so-called Anti-Crisis Shield. Below we provide the most important information and guidelines valid today.

HOW DO I GET SUPPORT IN MY FIRST MONTH?

What conditions must be met to benefit from the support?

  • Perform a civil law contract concluded before 1 February 2020.
  • The employee’s income from a civil law contract obtained in the month preceding the month in which he or she submitted the application for the downtime benefit may not exceed the amount calculated as 300% of the average monthly salary from the previous quarter announced by the President of the Central Statistical Office on the basis of the provisions on retirement and disability pensions from the Social Insurance Fund in force on the date of submitting the application (approx. PLN 15,500 gross).
  • You cannot have another title to social insurance.
  • Live in the territory of Poland and be a citizen of the Republic of Poland or have the right of temporary or permanent residence in the territory of the Republic of Poland (being a citizen of an EU member state) or be a foreigner with the right of legal residence in the Republic of Poland on another basis.
  • Not to perform a civil law contract in whole or in part due to downtime in business.

What can you gain?

  • Receive funds to compensate for the loss of revenue:
    • One-time support in the amount of PLN 2080,
    • However, if the sum of revenues from civil law contracts in the month preceding the month in which the application for the downtime benefit was submitted is up to PLN 1299.99 (less than 50% of the amount of the minimum wage for work in 2020), then the downtime benefit is due in the amount of the sum of remuneration under these contracts.
  • The withdrawal is transferred to a bank account.

How to apply?

At the same time, we would like to remind you that applications for the downtime benefit can be submitted to ZUS no later than 3 months from the month in which the state of epidemic is lifted.

In connection with the above requirements, we ask interested Employees – Contractors to send to their coordinators:

  • scan of the contract of mandate (in PDF format, max 1 MB),
  • a statement on not being subject to social insurance on any other basis and on the amount of income from other contracts.

Applications will be submitted successively, starting in April and in the order of applications received.

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE DOWNTIME BENEFIT FOR SUBSEQUENT PERIODS?

The first application for the downtime benefit is submitted to the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) through the employer (LeasingTeam), while the subsequent ones are submitted by the Contractor independently in the month following the month in which the first benefit is paid. If the first benefit was paid in May, the second application can be submitted in June.

What conditions must be met to benefit from the supportagain?

  • Submit a statement that the financial situation indicated in the previous application has not improved (the statement is part of the application form for the next payment, available on the ZUS website).
  • Perform a civil law contract concluded before 1 February 2020.
  • The employee’s income from a civil law contract obtained in the month preceding the month in which he or she submitted the application for the downtime benefit may not exceed the amount calculated as 300% of the average monthly salary from the previous quarter announced by the President of the Central Statistical Office on the basis of the provisions on retirement and disability pensions from the Social Insurance Fund in force on the date of submitting the application (approx. PLN 15,500 gross).
  • You cannot have another title to social insurance.

  • You can receive the benefit again, not earlier than in the month following the month in which the previously granted downtime benefit was paid.
  • You can receive the benefit up to three times.
