LeasingTeam Group wins bronze in EcoVadis certification

Why ESG matters today
Modern business increasingly operates in conditions in which stakeholders, i.e. customers, employees, investors, expect not only financial results, but also transparent and responsible practices. A sustainability strategy is no longer just a “desirable addition”, but is becoming part of a competitive advantage, and companies that effectively implement ESG measures are more likely to report better employee relations, lower turnover or higher engagement. A survey conducted by LeasingTeam Group and TalentPoint in 2025 shows that although only some organizations on the Polish market still treat ESG as a priority, the number of activities is growing, and companies see their meaning, even if it requires investments and changes in processes.
What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis creates independent ESG ratings that assess how responsibly companies operate. Both policies and procedures and real-world actions, data, certifications, and publicly available external information are taken into account. The process is based on an analysis of four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable purchasing practices, and each company receives a score and a position in the global ranking. The final score is based not only on the level of score, but also on the level of meeting (or not) the minimum requirements in each of the four categories examined. The assessment process also takes into account the company’s profile (industry, size, geography) and the “360° Watch” mechanism, i.e. the analysis of external signals regarding ESG risks. On the basis of the score (0-100) and meeting the minimum conditions in each category, EcoVadis awards distinctions: medals (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) or the so-called decorations (m.in. Committed).
Bronze Medal: what does it mean in practice?
The Bronze Medal is awarded to those companies that rank among about 35% of the best-rated organizations in the world. This means that LeasingTeam Group has achieved both the required point level and appropriate results in each of the ESG areas, as well as passed a positive verification of the so-called 360° Watch, i.e. a review of external sources concerning the company’s operations.
Progress compared to 2024
In last year’s assessment, LeasingTeam Group received the Committed designation, awarded to companies that have structured ESG practices, but do not yet meet all the criteria for qualifying for the medal. This year’s rating shows that the organization has significantly developed and is constantly improving its approach: it has strengthened policies, organized processes, expanded and better documented the effects of its activities. For customers and business partners, the EcoVadis result is a confirmation that the company conducts its business in a responsible and transparent manner, but also that the sustainability statements are reflected in the facts. For LTG itself, it is proof of real progress and a starting point for further raising ESG standards in the coming years.
