It is estimated that by 2035 the number of people working in Poland will decrease by 2.1 million, which will account for 12.6 per cent of the current level of employment. These shortages are to be filled by, m.in for example, foreigners, of whom 1 million 191 thousand were registered for social insurance in ZUS at the end of October 2024. “We must realize that without the migration of workers, we will not be able to cope as a country, we will not be able to cope as entrepreneurs and we will not go further. On the other hand, foreigners are not the only element we have to focus on,” says Andżelika Majewska, Vice-President of LeasingTeam, in an interview for PulsHR.
